Mike Spencer and Trish Drake began dancing together in 2008. They are 3 time American Country Dance Association National Champions, 2019 United Country Western Dance Council World Champions in Silver Classic Division 1 and the 2023 Crown Showcase World Champions.Trish began dancing Pro-Am in 2008 and held several Regional and National titles as an amateur. She has been a professional coach, instructor and assistant choreographer since 2017. She has produced several pro-am Regional and National Champions during her professional career.Mike Spencer has been a dance professional for over 30 years and is a certified instructor, coach, and choreographer. He is the 1994 Two Step Across Texas Champion and the 1995 Two Step Across American National Champion. In 2021 he was inducted into the American Country Dance Association Hall of Fame. He has produced numerous National and World Champions during his career.They are both actively involved on the UCWDC and ACDA competition circuits and teach both social and competitive students in the central and south Mississippi areas. Mike & Trish are the event directors of The Big Dance - an annual social dancing and workshop weekend held on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
